Description

Sensitive StomachsSoft

The secret weapon of every lick mat owner. Our Duck Pate is a smooth, single-protein pate that is 94% duck, and it can be sliced, cubed, grated, mashed or stuffed into just about anything. It is also brilliant for hiding tablets, not that your dog needs to know that.

Key features

  • 400g. Plenty to go round.
  • Single protein. 94% duck, 4% sweet potato and 2% vitamins and minerals.
  • Grain and gluten free. Gentle on sensitive tummies.
  • Soft. Kind to older teeth, and suitable for puppies from 4 weeks.
  • Enrichment friendly. Perfect for lick mats and Kongs, or for stuffing a Beef Trachea, Calf Hoof or Buffalo Horn.
  • Freezable. Freeze it for longer lasting fun.

Good to know

  • A treat and topper, not a meal replacement.
  • Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 2 to 3 days.
  • Watching their waistline? Our Turkey Pate is leaner at 6.3% fat.
  • As a natural product, shape and colour may vary.

Suitable for puppies from 4 weeks and senior dogs.

Please supervise your dog while they enjoy this treat, and make sure fresh water is always available.

Questions We Get Asked +

How long does it keep once opened?

Keep it in the fridge and use it within 2 to 3 days. Unopened it is fine in a cool, dry cupboard. Slicing and freezing portions works well if you only use a little at a time.

What is it for?

Stuffing hollow chews and freezing them is the big one. It turns a buffalo horn, calf hoof or trachea into something that lasts far longer. Also lick mats, training cubes, mashing into food for a fussy eater, and hiding tablets.

Why duck rather than turkey?

Duck is the better pick for a dog who reacts to chicken, since it is a genuinely different protein rather than another common poultry. If that is not a concern, either works.

Can it be their dinner?

No, it is a complementary treat rather than a complete food. Lovely alongside a meal, not instead of one.

What age?

From 4 weeks, right through to senior dogs. Nothing to chew, so it suits worn-down teeth as well as new ones.
