When do I need to order by for Christmas?
Wednesday 16 December. We post within one working day and send everything Royal Mail Tracked 48, so the usual window is three to five working days. An order placed on the 16th lands between the 21st and the 23rd, which leaves a couple of days spare. After that date we will still post, we just cannot promise it beats the 25th.
Can you post it straight to the person I am buying for?
Yes. Put their name and address in as the delivery address at checkout and it goes to them rather than to you. One thing to know: there is no gift note option, so nothing in the parcel says who it is from. Worth sending them a message so they are not left guessing.
Is it gift wrapped?
The Santa Paws Christmas Dog Treat Box is, wrapped and ready to go under the tree. Everything else arrives in our usual brown postal box, so if it is going under a tree you will want to wrap it yourself.
What should I put in a dog's Christmas stocking?
Small things, and a few of them. The crackers are made for exactly this, and a pouch of training treats, the Pick n Mix or a bag of sprats will all fill a stocking nicely. What does not work is the big chews. A hairy deer leg is a lovely present but it is not going in a stocking, and it wants supervising rather than being torn into first thing on Christmas morning.
I do not know the dog. What is safe to get?
A gift card, and then they pick. Failing that the Pawsome Pick n Mix is nine different treats in one pouch, so there is something in there whatever sort of dog they have, and the crackers are the same idea at five pounds. What we would avoid buying blind is the big chews, because a hard chew that suits a labrador is no use to a terrier.
How much is delivery?
It is 4.50 pounds, and free once the order is 35 pounds or more. We also do local delivery around Derbyshire, which we drop off ourselves in one to two working days.
