Description

Soft

Every dog dreams of pinching a sausage off the barbecue. This is the version you are allowed to hand over. Our Pork Sausages are made for dogs, so there is none of the salt, onion or garlic that makes a supermarket banger a bad idea.

Key features

  • Around 41g a sausage. As a natural product, sizes vary.
  • 82% British Farm Assured pork. With full traceability back to the farm.
  • 29.9% protein and 13.6% fat.
  • Soft and easy to break up. Ideal for cutting into small rewards.
  • High value. One of the best things we sell for holding a dog's attention when something more interesting is going on.
  • Made for dogs. No onion, no garlic, no added salt.

Worth knowing

These contain wheat flour, so they are not grain free. For a grain-free reward, our duck, turkey and venison training treats are 100% meat and nothing else.

Suitable for puppies from 12 weeks, with supervision.

Please supervise your dog while they enjoy this treat, and make sure fresh water is always available. As a natural product, sizes may vary slightly.

Questions We Get Asked +

Are these grain free?

No, and we want to be clear about that because nearly everything else we sell is. These contain wheat flour, so they are not suitable for a dog on a grain-free or wheat-free diet. If that is what you need, our duck, turkey and venison training treats are 100% meat and nothing else.

What is actually in them?

82% British Farm Assured pork, with full traceability back to the farm, plus wheat flour, glycerol and added vitamins and minerals. The full breakdown is in the composition section above.

Can I just give my dog a normal sausage?

Better not. Sausages made for people are loaded with salt, and often with onion or garlic powder, both of which are toxic to dogs. They are also far fattier. These are made for dogs, with none of that in them.

Are they good for training?

One of the best things we sell for it. Soft, easy to cut into small pieces, and high value enough to hold a dog's attention when there is something more interesting going on.

My dog reacts to pork.

Then give these a miss and look at the duck, turkey or venison training treats instead. Same job, different protein, and single ingredient.

How should I store them?

Cool and dry, and seal the bag once opened. They are soft treats rather than hard-dried, so they do not have the indefinite shelf life of a horn.
