Description

HypoallergenicOmega 3Soft

If your dog secretly thinks they are a wolf, these are the treats to prove it. Our Venison Training Treats are proof that simple is best: 100% venison and nothing else, in soft, bite-sized pieces.

Key features

  • 75g or 250g pouches. The big pouch is the better value for regular training.
  • One ingredient. 100% venison, not a blend. No additives, no preservatives, no grain or gluten.
  • High value. 38.5% protein and 31.8% fat, which is exactly why dogs pay attention for them.
  • A novel protein. A great pick for dogs who don't get on with more common meats.
  • Omega rich. Venison is naturally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, supporting healthy skin and a shiny coat.
  • Soft and easy to break. Ideal for training, rewards or hiding in enrichment toys.

Worth knowing

Because they are rich, they work best as rewards rather than an all-day snack. For a leaner reward, try our Turkey Training Treats. Want all four novel meats in one go? The Mixed Meat Medley has you covered.

Suitable for puppies from 4 weeks through to senior dogs.

Please supervise your dog while they enjoy this treat, and make sure fresh water is always available. As a natural product, sizes may vary slightly.

Questions We Get Asked +

Why venison for training?

Because it is high value. Most dogs have never had it, so it is novel and interesting in a way chicken never will be. When you need focus with something more exciting going on nearby, that matters.

Is venison good for sensitive dogs?

It is one of the better novel proteins. Sensitivities build through repeated exposure, and venison simply is not in most dog food, so there is nothing for them to have reacted to.

What is in them?

Prime venison and nothing else. Naturally rich in Omega-3, which supports skin and coat condition. No additives, no preservatives, grain and gluten free.

How do I use them?

Break them into small pieces for training, or drop them into an enrichment toy or lick mat. Small and frequent beats large and occasional when you are teaching something.

How many is too many?

Keep treats under around a tenth of what your dog eats in a day, and take a busy training session off their dinner. It adds up faster than people expect.

Feeding Instructions +
Use as a reward during training, alongside your dog's usual diet rather than on top of it. Treats should make up no more than a tenth of what they eat in a day. Reseal the pouch after opening and keep it somewhere cool and dry. Always leave fresh water available.
