Dental HealthHigh ProteinLow FatSensitive Stomachs

Beef bladder, dried and twisted into a chewy stick. Our Bladder Twist is one of the chews people ask about most on the stall, usually right before their dog makes the decision for them.

Key features

  • Around 25g a twist. As a natural product, sizes and shapes vary.
  • One ingredient. Beef bladder. No grain, no additives, nothing else.
  • Very lean. 3% fat and 56% protein, one of the leanest chews in our low fat range. If your vet has told you to keep fat right down, this is one to look at.
  • A middle-length chew. Longer than a soft treat, nowhere near as long as a buffalo horn. About right for an ordinary evening.
  • Chewy texture. Gets your dog chewing properly, which is good for teeth and gums.
  • Mild smell. There is very little fat in it, and fat is what carries the smell.

Suitable for puppies from 12 weeks, with supervision. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole.

Please supervise your dog while they enjoy this treat, and make sure fresh water is always available. As a natural product, sizes and shapes may vary.

Questions We Get Asked +

What is a bladder twist?

Beef bladder, dried and twisted into a chewy stick. One ingredient, nothing added. It is one of the more unusual things on the stall and one of the ones people are most surprised by, right up until their dog tries it.

Is it good for dogs on a diet?

It is one of the better picks for it. High in protein and very low in fat, at just 3%. If your dog needs to watch their weight but you do not want to stop giving them anything, this is a sensible swap for a richer chew.

Is it suitable for sensitive stomachs?

Usually yes. It is single ingredient, grain and gluten free, and highly digestible. Introduce it gradually if your dog has not had beef bladder before, as you would with anything new.

How long does it last?

Longer than a soft treat, nowhere near as long as a horn. It sits in the middle, which is exactly what a lot of people want for an ordinary evening. Take it away once it is small enough to swallow whole.

Does it smell?

Mildly, and less than you would expect given what it is. There is very little fat in it, and fat carries the smell.
