Almost no dog has ever had goat. That is the whole point of it. Our Goats Ears are 100% goat, air-dried, with nothing added.

Why goat?

Go and read the ingredients on almost any UK dog food and you will find chicken, beef, lamb, salmon or turkey. You will not find goat. That is what makes it worth trying for a dog who has reacted to the usual meats: it is not a variation on something they have already had, it is a protein they have almost certainly never met.

What no treat can do is tell you what your dog reacts to. What a single ingredient chew can do is make sure you know exactly what you gave them.

Goats ears or goat ears?

Same thing. People search for both and we answer to either. You will also see them sold as goat ear chews or goat braids, though a braid is a different product made from twisted goat skin rather than the ear itself.

Are they low fat? No, and we would rather say so

At 14.82% fat they sit just above our 14% low fat line, so they are not in that range. It is close, but a line you move is not a line. If lean is what you are after, our Lamb Ears are 7.8% and our hairy cow ears are 6.4%.

How many can my dog have?
